High Desert Inspiration

The High Desert Museum rocked my world on Saturday! We visited new exhibits that are really well done and truly inspired me: Art through Ancestry, which focuses on Native peoples art over time including contemporary artist Rick bartow; Spirit of the West, a walk through time from the First Peoples to the Cowboys; and the High Desert Homestead Ranch was a trip: people role play the usual suspects on a working ranch in the 1880 high desert wilderness. A definite MUST if you are in the area.
